A different title in the Throckmorton Series has been stuck into:
Phryné Isn't French (ASIN=B07F6JP59V... ISBN978-1975926397).
Phryné Isn't French (The Truffault Tales, #1) by Edward R. Hackemer
Please remove
Dollar to Doughnut (Throckmorton Family #4) by Edward R. Hackemer
Dollar to Doughnut (ISBN10:1505245117) from the Editions List for Phryné Isn't French.
Thank you muchly.

Is not Phryné Isn't French a revised version of Dollar to Doughnut?

On Goodreads, we usually keep revised editions combined with their originals.

Phryné Isn't French is and always was #1 Truffaut Tales - ISBN 13: 978-1975926397
Dollar to Doughnut is and always was #4 Throckmorton Novels - ISBN-13: 978-1505245110
I do not believe revised editions can carry a different title, can they?

Frequently.

Is Phryné Isn't French a revised version of Dollar to Doughnut? Do they have the same characters, roughly the same plot?

Edward Hackemer (edhackemer) | 19 comments Dollar to Doughnut begins where A Bridge to Cross ends, and finds Phryne forsaken, alone and without means in Hollywood.
I would say a "SERIES" is just that ... a series. Some of the same characters, yes. Same plot: no. Same story: no. Same antogonist: no. Same protagonist: no.Phryné Isn't French brings her from Hollywood to Paris to Margate, Kent.
Read 'em.
Perhaps the sum of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Ian Flemming, Arthur Conan Doyle, Louis l'Amour, Anne Rand, Danielle Steel and Lewis Carroll's work could be called editions of the same work.
Thank you for your interest and input.
