There's no way she could have known that he would escape, and she trusted Brody and the justice system, so I think she did the right thing. She could have tortured him for information, but that would be against her nature.
I actually felt vindicated on her behalf when she strung him up from the tree. I didn't see any other options between the police and murder at that point.
I loved that she was able to capture him all on her own. I don't think she could've killed him unless it was in self defense - which it wasn't once she strung him up. Calling in the police was the right thing to do.
I was fearful that the author would have her release Mick and she’d let him go! I believed that would have been a step too far. I was so happy she stayed true to character.
