Hannah has a moment of conflict when she captures Mick and suspends him from the tree. Did she have any other options other than to kill him or turn him in to the police? Did she do the right thing, even after considering his later escape?

Lynn (ftbooklover) There's no way she could have known that he would escape, and she trusted Brody and the justice system, so I think she did the right thing. She could have tortured him for information, but that would be against her nature.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I actually felt vindicated on her behalf when she strung him up from the tree. I didn't see any other options between the police and murder at that point.

~Melissa~ | 429 comments I loved that she was able to capture him all on her own. I don't think she could've killed him unless it was in self defense - which it wasn't once she strung him up. Calling in the police was the right thing to do.

I was fearful that the author would have her release Mick and she’d let him go! I believed that would have been a step too far. I was so happy she stayed true to character.

She did the right thing, made the best choice.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) I actually did a little cheer when she turned the tables on Mick and strung him up. Even though we can sympathise with her wanting to kill him, calling the authorities is always the right decision and let justice be served.
