Their romance seemed a little awkward to me. Some of the dialogue seemed a little off and some of their scenes together seemed incomplete.
I felt that they each found shelter from their own storms in each other, so I liked them, even if the situations seemed awkward and faltering at times.
Sorry - I liked the suspense part of the story more than the romance part. Was glad they got together and was just as happy to get back to the mystery/suspense part.
I liked them individually and as a couple. The romance was nicely integrated into the suspense and this was truly an adult relationship. No game playing here. Hannah might have questioned her ability to care for someone but her veneer started cracking in the first book after bonding with Lee’s children and then her brothers.
