LOVED this book!! Sooo different from what colleen hoover normally writes but nonetheless a great book. i read somewhere that she is working on another thriller/suspense book and cant wait for it to come out. I couldnt put this one down once i started it, definitely recommend

I am reading it right now and it is amazing!
Literally so amazing. After I read it I couldn’t stop thinking about it like it was always on my mind. Def in my top favs by her for sure.
Oh my goodness, I read it in almost one sitting! I just couldn't put it down. I was nervous because it wasn't like CoHo's other books but I honestly think it was better. I loved getting to read the manuscript at the same time as Lowen! I had to take a break once, it was when Verity was talking about her being in the bathroom while Jeremey was asleep.
It is most definitely a must-read, just look at trigger warnings before starting!

Loved the book! It was my first 5 star rating of the year. Spooky but soooo interesting, I couldn't put it down.

Ohhhh myyyy this book was fantastic. I always had it on my tbr and was dying to know why everyone found it creepy and very entertaining. I bought it in an Impulse and finished it in one night. The whole aesthetic of this book was amazing, I was able to imagine the house so pretty and mysterious. And the love trope really suited all of this. In the end I just hope that Colleen blesses us with another thriller because this was amazing. Ps: there is just one right answer and it is manuscript!

When she said verity was standing at the top of the stair case I think I peed my pants like helllo.
And do we think he knew ab the autobiography and tried to kill her or do u think she actually killed her children
Is it just me who could not forgive Jeremy for what he tried to do to Verity?
This book was so freaking amazing!! This was a beautiful mix of suspense and romance and plot twists. Can we just talk about that ending though…. no WAY that letter was true. She was totally covering for herself!

i went into it now knowing what to expect and I loved it!! it’s so different from her other books but it’s so good and I loved the plot twists

SERIOUS QUESTION!!! Do you guys think that what verity wrote was all a lie for her writing or do you think the note that was found under the floor was just so she didn’t look bad?
I honestly don’t know i can’t stop thinking about this, I think she’s actually done it just because of the nature and how she acted throughout, just what I choose to believe haha

LOVED THE BOOK!! Everyone in the book was a bad person, except crew. I have no clue if im team manuscript or letter. Im leaning a bit more on the manuscript side cause i think the letter was a way for her to manipulate the situation and her coming out as a victim. I can be wrong but she did fake her injurys and in the beginning jeremy said she was never close to harper. I have no idea which is the truth but the book was amazing!

Verity was amazing! It was my first thriller novel and I loved it. The scenes were described so perfectly. I couldn't even keep the book down. I was dead scared while reading it at night but continued it because it was just so freaking good. I believed the letter tbh but when I gave more thought and discussed it, I became Team Manuscript 100%
I just got the verity book today I can't wait to start reading :)
Verity is and I think will always be, my favourite book. It's what got me back into reading after about 6 years - and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

This was my first book written by Colleen Hoover. It was so disturbing and dark.I cried a lot in this book and had to put it down a bit.It was way too triggering for me.I had read the synopsis before reading it and it had no mention / alert about how dark it was or really what it as about.
This book after reading it 3 days later I woke up crying and screaming then full blown panic attack. I wish I would not of read it.
I’ve just finished reading Verity! I really hope she gives us a book 2! Feel like she left it open enough that she could take the follow up in any direction! CoHo is the best!
If you are a mom then I should tell you there are huge triggers. I sobbed and was very angry after reading this.
Such a great read 5 star read for me and I haven’t even finished the book yet ,only started reading a day ago will be finished today it’s that good. Hope Colleen continues more thriller in the future love the mix of both romance and thriller, she is an amazing writer

i COULD not put this book down. i wanted to just know what happened next and my jaw dropped at the ending. i keep thinking about this book and it got me hooked on thrillers for sure. NO i don’t wanna read the new chapter bc i hear it sucks. blehhh but yes great read (:
I just got my book last week as an early birthday gift, and I just started reading it today 😄 Holy shit, why did the first page scare me so much? Will definitely read more of it when I’m on my lunch break ☺️

I give it 5 stars. It's the first CoHo book I read. And I am still not sure what's what? I think I believe the letter not the manuscript. I read the version with the epilogue. I won't say much about it since I know not many have read that version yet. But the book was suspenseful and it kept me coming back for more each time.

I finished the book a few days ago and for some reason I was more confused than ever! Before the bonus chapter, I was mostly team manuscript while believing a bit of the letter. After reading the bonus chapter, I feel like I am 50/50 about the letter and manuscript because there are elements from both perspectives that explain a lot about Verity and Jeremey. Overall, I didn’t like any of the main characters but the plot was definitely the only thing that made me love the book all together!
This was my FIRST coho book. My cousin in Germany was reading this. Ironically enough we BOTH just had babies and she would consistently text me about how this book has her booked and was triggering her at the same time so me being me i picked the book up as well. I legitimately finished this book in less than 12 hours!!! So damnnnnnn good. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Coho is the GOAT. I honestly wish she would dip her toes in the thriller pool cause she KILLED this.
it was so so thrilling, i LOVED it! definitely one of my favourite books i’ve read this year - so so different to what i’ve read by CoHo and i probably finished that book in like 2 days because i was so on edge and wanted to see how it ended. it’s too 3 CoHo books imo and i read it on my phone, i wish i had the physical copy of it. i don’t usually reread books because i always have a good memory of the storylines of em but with verity, it’s a book i’ll defo reread one day
My first and favorite Colleen Hoover book! Amazing, 5/5 stars!
It’s such a good book. Honestly one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. 10/10 for me
This book kick started my love for reading again. 5/5 stars and my favorite CoHo book to this day.
