5.6 - The Munchkins.
Three of the featured munchkins are the members of the Lollipop Guild. Guilds were important in the Middle Ages, so read a book set at least 50% in the Middle Ages - 476 to 1450 A.D. If the setting date is not clear from the GR description or the metadata, provide a reference.

Can the be set in any geographical location? She Who Became the Sun is set in China in 1345 but it would not be considered the Middle Ages in China.

any location will do - focus on the dates.

Thanks!"

looks fine

Trish (trishhartuk) | 3675 comments I'm pretty sure there's enough in the GR description of this for it to count, but I just wanted to double check: The White Ship: Conquest, Anarchy and the Wrecking of Henry I’s Dream

Ana | 410 comments If MPG is medieval will that count. I looked it up and it said middle ages was another name for medieval.

I'm sorry, Trish, I never got any notice of this. The description specifically refers to 1120, so that's fine.

I'm sorry, no. This is not a MPG task. The setting must be 476-1450.

Ana | 410 comments Well if MPG is middle ages wouldn't that put the timeline at 476-1450. For those books that do not specify a date in time.

Not necessarily. I ran into at least one title shelved as Medieval that was set in the 1600s.

Book Concierge (tessabookconcierge) | 4447 comments The main page synopsis begins: XIV century

Is this enough to confirm Cathedral of the Sea by Ildefonso Falcones as occuring during the Middle Ages?

The book is about the construction of the cathedral in Barcelona -
Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_M...
indicates it was built 1329 - 1383.

sure, the dates are 476 to 1450, so the 14th century is within the period.
