To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- like characters in common, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc. What makes this a series?

Louise, you haven't answered the moderator's question (msg #3) yet. What makes the books a series?

Having received no answer to the question, I have removed the series. If they do actually meet the Goodreads definition, we can add the series back.

The characters are all friends, each book is related. It is not a serial, but about six friends and the women they fall in love with. Characters cross over into each book. I am not sure where my original response went but I did answer.
