SOLVED. guy with a boat and a dog and a girl moves in next door

okay so i’ve been trying to find this romance novel for HOURS. i read it a few years ago and all i can remember is that there was a guy who had a dog, maybe a goldien retriever, and he lived on a body of water. this girl moved in next door and she had a cat i believe. they went for a day on the boat with his friends/ family at some point and i think they had a date in a field? if someone could help me figure this out that’d be great!!!!!!
