How would YOU change the story

Hey there! I was wondering how you all would change up the plot for any of the books in the whole Girshaverse

This isn't like a solid idea and plan but what if Alina had saved the stag and gotten away from the darkling. She could come back more powerful and in control of her powers. I feel we could get some cool darkling plotting scenes or taking his anger out. But also some good training for Alina and get to see some new sun summoner abilities. And yeah I love how they did it and how Alina broke the darkling's control but it would have been nice to see some more power from Alina.
