I wrote this about a month ago for a guy im still in love with:

I care about the broken parts. They are what make you, you. When you're sad and down I want to be there for you. When you're agitated I still want to be there to calm you down. I’m not afraid of you. I'm afraid of the future but I’m willing to face my fears for you. I can do anything when I’m with you. I’m afraid of myself and that I'll mess this up even more than I already have. I'm such a fool for you. I realize I need to give you time but you're all I want. Nothing will get in the way of me loving you. The only reason I say I love you so much is because I never hear it from someone who isn’t my family. I want the people I love to know that I love them. I’ve healed since the last time we saw each other. I’ve had a lot of self reflection and I’ve realized that no matter how hard I try I have to wait on you because you're stubborn and you don’t budge.
