SOLED. YA Sci-Fi series. Post-apocalyptic setting in worn down city where teenagers are main characters. They live in separate communities by socio-econ status & are not supposed to cross over. I remember them being part human, part hybrid- maybe AI? [s]

This sounds a lot like the Uglies, Pretties, etc series by Scott Westerfeld. One version of the covers has an eye on front. Any idea whether that could be a match?

The main character is a teenage girl, with other supporting characters being boys and girls. I read this book in middle school around 2008-2011. I do not remember how many books there (3-5?) but I remember each book being a different color and I also remember there being an eye on one of more of the covers. Although I am pretty sure it took place in a worn down city, I remember there being a few scenes in the woods and the "capitol" being in the city for sure. There were adults in the book but they were not the main focus. There may have been a bit of a romance story line but that was not the main plot. I believe each book was a different color (darker colors, maybe blue and green?). I'm pretty sure it was a woman author and it was a paper book. The book was published in English. It is not Haddix.
