I am going to read my kindle freebie first, and by then hopefully my urban fantasy book will be available at the library!Otherwise, I'll be looking at switching up my choice for that shelf.

I finished my Urban Fantasy and will work on Sworn-worthy book. I still need to see what kindle free I have or can get since I've gotten a few throughout the years. LOL I think I have the same one you posted. I might even go with that one as well ;-)

Review: Twisted mess
Whoa! Such a mess Kate and Curran run into but we all do what we can for our family. There's also the issue with all the ones wanting to kill Kate. I so understand Kates' worry about her being around all the people she loves and of boy Curran really did make a mistake and he's going to be in the doghouse if Kate doesn't kill someone first. So much goes on in this book that I can't wait to see what's going to happen next.

Woohoo! Stamp!! 😁I finished my swoon book and loved it. I’ll add a completion in a few. I’m going to start my next book tonight or tomorrow since I still need to finish my current book hahaha

Review: I started this book yesterday and stayed up late to get a lot of reading done. I didn’t want to put it down. This was so much fun and yes, hot! But Mia and Ansel definitely have a connection but of course a secret can be an issue for them. Mia does need to figure out and stand up for herself too. Ansel knows what he wants and is so sweet but both characters tend to try and run from their problems and it can make for a bit of an unsettling moment or maybe not. I really enjoyed this story.

This was cute and started really strong, I thought. Jessica is back in town and accidentally makes out with the wrong twin - maybe a cliche but it worked for me. I liked this one because it was a bit of a combo between friends-to-lovers and enemies-to-lovers. The two leads have known each other since they were children and were 'frenemies' I would say. However, by the time she returns as an adult, he's already in love with her. And of course she still 'hates' him. Romance ensues.
It got a little worse as it went along (hence the three star rating) and I found myself skimming sections that involved a subplot with bikers.

I liked this book a lot. It's been a while since I've read a greek mythology retelling, and I thought this was well done. Persephone flees 'the upper city' to avoid marriage to Zeus, and runs right into Hades' arms. I liked the upper/lower city and the world that the author built. I felt the character motivations were well done and I was glad it didn't fall prey into a few common plots, like the two leads having a significant 'miscommunication'. There was opportunity for that here, but the author did something else instead.
On to the next one!
