I recommend “The Forest of Good and Evil” by Gena Showalter and especially the first book of the series “The Evil Queen.” The books are about fairytales with a twist and they’re one of the first fantasy books I really enjoyed reading. Not super short but it’s never boring, it also has slow burn romance and enemies to lovers trope. I also just finished “Red Queen” by Victoria Aveyard and that was a rollercoaster of emotions but also really good. X

pauli | 2 comments well i haven’t read any short series but the wicked deep and winter wood by shea ernshaw are literally AMAZING, they are short books, with great fantasy and sweet romance

Asia | 2 comments did you already read the infernal devices by Cassandra Clare? It's not all about the romance (50/50) - but the characters are growing to love each other, and it's so good to be quite a "witness" of it. I really loved every part of it ❣️

lulussecretss I'd say To Kill a Kingdom! It's one of the first fantasy books I've read and it's great. Not very long, easy to understand and there's romance :)
