Leslie Mataran Varon was born the youngest heir of the Royal family, and the youngest brother of Aubrey and ___.
He had always been the most child-like of the trio even though he was the eldest son, and because of it, was treated like the youngest even though it was harmful for his growth as he continued to grow up. He was and still is very sheltered and can seem spoiled because of it, but he has never tried to do it on purpose, and is completely open to bettering himself if someone cares enough to teach him patiently.
Unfortunately, because of his family's belief that he is an innocent child even in his middle-teens, no one has and therefore he has no idea of what he lacks.

PERSONALITY
peppy, spunky, excited, energetic, quietCallym always had problems with sound, from as early as he could remember. When they were young, she tried to avoid loud areas or places that anxiety or fear could be triggered. No, it was more then that. She didn't fear sound, Callym physically couldn't handle loud hertz. Most of their childhood was deemed normal. Other then the occasional visitor or crush, he felt as if everything would be okay. That was, until, his tenth birthday. All he had wanted was a small present and the night to himself. Boy, was he up for a surprise. Their night was a blur. All she remembers is screaming and the world going dark. Come to find out, someone had poisoned her meal. This has caused a lot of distrust to others. Callym makes their own food, gets their own supplies, basically outcastes themselves. All to keep them safe.
Let's talk about Callym's energy level. Most of the time, he has enough energy to bounce around the walls. honestly it is a bit concering at times, especially when they are found at around three a.m in the castles library reading. Once their father found out, he transferred bookshelves to their room. They are always moving. Some part of him is always tapping, cracking, or moving.
On the same hand? Callym is one of the happiest people you could ever meet. She's constantly smiling, despite it sometimes being strained. They always have something to grin about. Whether it be the story they're creating in their head or his friends' gentle laughs on loop. It is calming in a way.
HISTORY
Even with the added on things of his mother dying, Callym has always been different. From an early age he has been reclusive, anxious. She hated people, hated socializing and hated music. When she was ten (on her birthday, mind you) Callyms food was poisoned by the former chief, putting her into a coma for nearly a year. So developmentally, he is already a year behind. Ever since the incident, they had become sickly almost, needing a cane to keep their balance and a guide companion to alert them when they needed to sit.
APPEARANCE
Most of the time, Callym has their hair down. They love their fluffy locks and find them to be quite attractive when looking in the mirror. They had a hard time accepting their masculinity and gender-neutral ness in the beginning of them coming out, but now they find it a flex. They love to confuse people, just to make them red and flustered. Especially their friends. He doesn't take it to heart, because some of the time She tends to not even know what she feels like.

ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ (5+ ꜱᴇɴᴛᴇɴᴄᴇꜱ): Ezra is a soft man with a soft heart. He believes that everyone has good within them, even if they’ve shown him time and time again that they don’t. He’s easy to forgive. As long as you scrounge up the slightest inkling of a genuine apology. He’ll do anything for the people around them, resulting in becoming a complete pushover. It doesn’t take much to convince him to do something for you, especially if you wield something you’ve done for him in the past as another reason.
He’s incredibly kind, speaking in a soft tone and making sure that those around him know that he appreciates them. He does more for others than he’ll ever do for himself. Which is good and bad, considering that it has left him not taking care of himself for a week or two due to a particularly long favour.
Ezra is incredibly easy to influence, full stop. He’s gullible and vulnerable. He’s easily upset. He’s someone who doesn’t have it all together, but he’s trying his best. Most of the time his sweet nature and soft heart gets taken for granted.

Darius is a kind person. He's very firm in his belief that every being deserves to be treated with respect. He's very calm and gentle, and it takes a lot to get him visibly upset. He's very close with his family, especially his oldest son, and he cares very deeply for each of them. Darius is also a very self-sacrificial person to a fault - he'd take a bullet for someone he just met, and he's almost always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt. He has a habit of always putting on a brave face, putting the comfort of the people around him before his own. He's opposed to the use of violence and will often try to negotiate or talk things out with his enemies. However, he won't hesitate to passionately defend his values, and he has very little respect for people who would knowingly hurt another person and be okay with it.
Darius is the kind of person who doesn't tell anyone when something's wrong. He'd rather focus on anyone's problems but his own, and he has a tendency to bottle up any emotions he deems "undesirable". He prioritizes other people's comfort over his own and almost always tries to compromise - although there are certain things he's not willing to back down from. He's not good at talking about his own emotions. The constant stress of running a kingdom and keeping his family safe combined with all of his past traumas turn into this intense anxiety and hurt bubbling underneath his gentle, kind exterior.no one really knows his mind

he goes to lock the doorMost people in Ghostpeake know the story. Cadel Varon, the tyrant king, was overthrown by his own son. But many don't know the full story.
Darius was never originally the heir to the throne. He had an older brother named Tobias, the only friend he had growing up. Their father never cared about either of them, but Tobias shielded Darius from most of the abuse. Their mother had run away when Darius was young, presumably to somewhere beyond the mountains. Tobias was the only person protecting Darius. He was supposed to be the perfect prince, fit to take the throne after his father - and Tobias was practically perfect for the role. But he hated Cadel, and he wasn't afraid to show it, resulting in loud arguments while Darius hid in his room.
When Darius was eight, the royal family went on a trip down to the southernmost part of Whitehollow. Darius got bored and went exploring, and wound up getting lost in the Bear's Hold. He didn't know how dangerous it was until he was cornered by three of the bears. Tobias came running in with his sword, yelling for Darius to run - so that's what he did. He ran back to the city and hid for a full hour, waiting for Tobias to come back. But he never did. Until a hunter came into town, carrying his brother's broken body. He was gone.
His father blamed him for the death. He didn't care at all about Tobias, no - he was just mad he'd lost his perfect heir, and especially so that he'd just been left with someone like Darius. But that was all Cadel had, so he was prepped to be the next king.
There was always something he was doing wrong. He was too sensitive, too weak, too emotional. His father tried to mold him into a completely different person, but it never worked. At the same time, a rebellion was growing in the west. People were tired of Cadel's reign and the way he abused his power. A young assassin was sent to kill Darius when he was fifteen, to eliminate the Varon line - until she realized Darius was fully willing to die. He wanted to die.
So she gave him a chance.
The two escaped the castle together, and Darius joined the rebellion, even ended up leading it after a few years. He grew close with the girl who'd been sent to kill him, and they became very good friends. Her name was Adelaide. It took five years of bloodshed, but Darius led the rebellion and overthrew his father, taking the throne. From there, he promised peace. Fairness. And he did everything he could to fulfill that promise.
Adelaide was one of his closest friends, and eventually, they fell in love. She was just as good a ruler as him, if not better. They had three kids, and things were perfect for a long time. And then everything managed to go wrong in a matter of days.
Callym was poisoned, put into a coma for a full year - and on their birthday, no less. Darius was waiting next to their bed in the hospital when he heard screaming. He ran as fast as he could to find Adelaide dead, murdered, with her killer going after Aubrey. He defended his son, killing the attacker, but it was too late for his wife. He always blamed himself for it, for not being there in time. He could have saved her, he could have protected both of them if he had just been a little faster. But he can't show how much it hurts - he has to take care of his family first, to keep them all safe. He's been even more protective of them all since then, and he'd sacrifice his own life without hesitation to protect them.he is falling in love

Darius hates having to fight - he's fine with sparring and training, but actual fights are a nightmare for him. It brings up too many bad memories for him. He didn’t have the best childhood, so he’s always made it a point to be extra accommodating to kids and making sure they feel safe with him. His ponchos and blankets come in a wide variety of sizes and colors. If there’s not a design or size that fits you, don’t worry! He’ll make one special for you! He tries to keep the prices reasonable, and will always lower them if he knows someone’s in a pinch or cannot pay. Overall, he tries to be the best person he can!

HISTORY
This woman may have a heart of gold, but the challenges she has ensued have made her seriously evaluate life. It's a push and pull with her.
Kimor grew up with her older siblings, her parents had both died during some war she has no recollection of. She had four older sisters who helped do the job, and Treated her like she needed to be.
On her seventeenth birthday, Kimora had just asked out her class crush and was taking her to meet the women that loved her. The smell of blood hit her nose first. Hellhounds. Someone had released them while her sisters slept, killing all of them.
Kimora broke up with her girlfriend and fell into a deep hole of vengefullness. When she turned twenty she found the person responsible and killed them. Twenty-five was when she took head as governess and twenty-six when she met her wife (then girlfriend) Kimora was six months along with her first child by the time the two met. Her ex-husband had just left her for a man (which she had no problem with! the problem was that he had been cheating on her D:) When she proposed to [] she knew then and there they were soulmates. She founded an orphanage and adopted the children, everything seemed okay for the most part until infant twins got dropped on their doorstep three years ago. Both girls. Both of Royal blood. Grimm is a very calm and intelligent person. He's ridiculously perceptive and observant, noticing even the slightest of movements. However, he's also barely aware he's even in Ghostpeake - he's entirely oblivious to anything that would be considered important news. He couldn't tell you the king's name if he tried. While he's extremely attuned to the natural world, he is not at all used to actually interacting with people and is generally standoffish and antisocial.
Emotions are not his strong suit. He struggles with picking up on how people feel, and he barely displays any of his emotions himself. The closest you'll get to a laugh from him is a small smile. He doesn't know how to handle other people's emotions - he'll get very awkward and have no idea what to do. Grimm is a very serious person, more concerned with logic than feeling.and dips his wings

When the boy walked in, Cole was sure he was screwed. What he was not expecting was for Ezra to practically adopt him, taking him in and cleaning him up. The stage, the stories... Really, it gave him a moment to be anyone but himself.

History:
Paz was born a tree. Raised a sapling for nearly twenty years. She hadn't realistically became 'her' until Garnet. Garnet was a teenager when he came out, watering her roots every day. She was asleep, but could always hear his hesitant footsteps as he poured the sugary water on her roots.
The last thing she remembers before becoming, well, her, was Garnet screaming and throwing himself on her roots. The teenager was slaughtered at her feet. She woke hours later.
A hundred years passed, full of numbness and pain.
Then she met them the band of almost marauders. It wasn't like she had anything else to do, so she joined. Her past is in the past and she plans to keep it that way.
