Help Me! question

It made me choose a book, so i could post DISREGARD IT PLEASE.

I read a book about 7 years ago that was a novel a friend had laying around.
It starts with a man faking his own death leaving his wife and her flower shop to venture to europe and start a new life. I cant remember the characters name. The man ends up in a hostel in poland i believe. He meets a woman and boyfriend that own the hostel named i think peach/pepper.?
The story then splits to a new character a detecive from ireland who is a rough around the edges drinker who is divorced but still loves his wife deeply enough to pay a certain hooker to dress like his ex when he meets with her for services. There is a killer framing the detective when that same hooker comes up dead. The detective goes rogue trying to stop the killer, we meet his daughter isabella and her boyfriend Kieran. The killer pretend to be a blind man. Detective and man from the beginning end up working together with peach/pepper to get the killer to a bar where killer sets everything on Fire, man from beginning dies but detective survives and is badly burned in hospital when book ends.

I do believe this was written by a woman. Who has done alot of other types of books. I also think this might be a part og a series of novels.
