Did anyone else see the ending coming?

But that would tease that she was going to ask M to help her and E didn't. The part about M's father was off the wall!

I kind of did see it coming, I thought the dad would be Hugo's lover....

Since the article Monique wrote was about the same topic, I guess I felt it coming. And even if that part hadn't been mentioned at all, I would've known it from the way Evelyn answered Monique's questions and all that stuff - she had been thinking about it for a long time, I suppose, and she was just waiting for the right person to write "the story of her life", to then do what she did. She wouldn't have kept Monique waiting for years just to publish it.

not immediately, but at some point, I started suspecting that she was related to his death just because Evelyn mentioned so many times that she would hate her after she finds out and I couldn't think of anything else that could be so dramatic.

I had no clue that ending was coming. I kept trying to guess at their connection - I thought it would have been a deeper connection.

I didn’t catch on at all and then, all of a sudden, it was a “WTF did I just read” moment for me! Does anyone else think Evelyn might be loosely based on Elizabeth Taylor?

yeah, I kinda see it... i thought that evelyn killed monique's father. she didn't exactly killed him, but i was kinda right ;)
