Ooh, I'm a fan of Arthurian legend and I've heard a lot about this book. Hope it's okay if I jump into this discussion too.

I started this a few days ago and have only just reached Chapter 6. I found the first few chapters (view spoiler)[slow and a bit boring. Now Merlin has appeared and its starting to get interesting. I like the twist about his magic. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13. Nimue (view spoiler)[for me it's a shame she's the main character because I'm not enjoying her chapters as much. At the moment, I think I want more Merlin or Uther. (hide spoiler)]

I've read the first five chapters and it's a bit too slow for me rn. I'm hoping it'll get a bit more fast-paced!

i have finished the book but im somewhat disappointed. i'm not really sure how i feel about this book because it took so long for things to make sense - about the time that Merlin showed up. I can honestly say i am not a really big fan of this book i didnt dislike it just didnt really feel it while reading it. My rating is 3 stars
