T ✩ Handmaiden Of Amidala (tarria) | 25 comments I did enjoy We Were Liars but I can also see why many people found it disappointing.

Emma Jo same here

T ✩ Handmaiden Of Amidala (tarria) | 25 comments Yeah it was just a bunch of sheltered rich kids whining. I found the fresh perspective intriguing but others probably wouldn't.

Has anyone read the prequel Family Of Liars? Because I hated it so much and the characters were somehow even more unlikeable and worse; inconsistent.

em 💌💐 | 15 comments the inheritance games and I fell in love with hope. both got so much hype on Tiktok and i was so let down

short.goblin (shortgoblin) | 25 comments @Maya

idk the written style and plot in we were liars was nonsense in my opinion.

short.goblin (shortgoblin) | 25 comments @Tarria

God have mercy yess i read fanily of liars and i felt like it was worse than we were liars. i hated everyone. like you said, its just a bunch of rich sheltered kids whinning and whinning

message 58: by short.goblin (new)

short.goblin (shortgoblin) | 25 comments to add onto what i didn't like about we were liars:
- one dimensional characters
- the "plot twist"
- the romance between gat and cadence
- felt like a whole bunch of rich people whining

Sophie ❤️ | 81 comments Woof- it was to boring and didn’t get to the point fast enough it took me a month instead of a day to finish it was so boring (NO MAJOR KIDNAPPINGS LIKE THATS AN ESSENTIAL)

message 60: by Brilyn (new)

Brilyn I read “they both die at the end” years ago and didn’t really like it, I might reread though. It starts with us was nothing compared to it ends with us. I’m not a huge romance reader, unless recommended by a friend, but Cohos books and Ali hazel woods books I really like in the moment and then looking back on them I don’t. It ends with us I still love, probably a 4-4.5 for me, but I have it a 5 and I’ll keep it that way. Ugly love is probably a 3.75 now but I gave it a 5. In the moment a gave the love hypothesis a 5 but I think it’s a 3. My opinions change

message 61: by Samantha (new)

Samantha | 5 comments Look I’m sorry, I know a lot of people loved this book, but I think “They Both Die At the End” was really disappointing and overhyped. There were some good parts, and I liked the ending but it took me forever to read because it just seemed to go so slow.

Umber Horizon Only a Monster was SO disappointing..

~Cassie~ | 1 comments Who in here likes or dislikes ACOTAR?

message 71: by lemon tea (new)

lemon tea | 11 comments only read the first book so far but the cruel prince series, heard a lot of great things about it but the book just seemed to be all over the place

message 72: by claire :) (new)

claire :) The Maze Cutter 😭
I really love the rest of the maze runner books, but that was a huge letdown.

Dashner is milking the franchise at this point

Kat(Taylor’s Version) | 11 comments This was overhyped by my mother. She absolutely loved this book called Anatomy so naturally I got it out of the library and hated it deeply. I didn’t even finish it. It wasn’t good.

sophie (taylor’s version) Book Lovers by Emily Henry had SUCH amazing potential, and while I loved the plot it felt like it was written very poorly. I also regret reading the Shadowhunters series: siblings in love trope, demons possessing people trope… it was just not good. The only good thing from that was Alec and Magnus.

message 75: by julia :) (new)

julia :) Tsitp 😭 It was just boring, and Belly was being a whiny little child :/

How so? The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes' ending cinfused me

RoroReads (Free Palestine) An Emotion Of Great Delight
- Tahereh Mafi
Biggest mistake of my life

message 79: by Avie (new)

Avie | 4 comments The hunger games was disappointing because how it ended. (The main trilogy) I disliked Peeta’s character s lot so for it to end with them being all happy and stuff was just not very satisfying for a series that was that intense.

message 80: by Ann (new)

Ann | 7 comments I was very disappointed in Natasha Preston's books. I've read the Island and the Lake and they were both subpar. The Lake was straight up bad tho

message 81: by Abi (new)

Abi Book 6 of One of Us is Lying
and
Faceless

message 82: by Samantha (new)

Samantha | 5 comments I agree with one of us is lying! It was okay, but disappointing fs.

This is an unpopular opinion, but they both die at the end. It was too slow for me.

Omggg me too. Everyone is in love with Peeta but like no Gale was better dont come for me

message 84: by Lovisa (new)

Lovisa | 17 comments I know why people feel Gale was better but Peeta was what katniss needed, gale did nothing but act selfish when she was in the arena and made everything abt him. Peeta always put katniss first and was a genuinely good person. And i liked the ending bc it was what katniss needed, and for her to finally be able to settle down showed that she felt safe, and she had the life of a victor. But i understand tho, i was team Gale at first.

message 85: by Lovisa (new)

Lovisa | 17 comments also i hated Cruel Prince

Really?? I love her books! If you want to give more of her books a try bc I would say that the 2 that you mentioned were NOT my faves. Anywho if you want to, try The Cellar or The Cabin

Paigeee😆💕 The summer I turned pretty idk why I just couldn’t stand Taylor and Belly was so whiny to.

message 95: by Mari (new)

Mari | 28 comments I read it pretty recently and I didn't like it either. I was so excited for it but I couldn't read the rest of the series. I don't like dystopian that much and idk, I just didn't like it. I was so disappointed that it was disappointing
