As a scientist and as a musician, I really liked this book. While it wasn't entertaining like other books, it was a fascinating read, bringing together two of my great loves. You do have to read it as a professor reading a thesis because it is a lot. There was something about the second half I found a little lacking, but it would be great to see as a TV mini-series.
