Hi, everyone! I have two doubts doubt: how can the mesons exist even for a short period of time with energy coming out of nowhere? Does this break the energy conservation law and, if it does, how can it happen? How can an alpha particle leave the nucleus (or atoms fuse themselves) through the tunneling effect? Thank you for explaining it.
