Merge pending. I added some missing data from Worldcat.org, but fail to translate the credit for "d'après l'ouvrage". Can anyone help me translate it to English?

This is from the look inside of the French edition.

I don't have a literal English translation, but it means adapted from/based on/inspired by the book Shikei shikkonin sanson, which was written by Masakatsu Adachi.
Someone mentions that it is a loose adaptation.

In Dutch it would be "naar het werk van".
Google translate is not really working for phrases like this.

Many thanks, Arenda. I rarely edit adaptions, but Adachi should be listed in the secondary position then. Or is it optional to add given the 'loose adaption', so I can leave it as is?

I can't tell, as I'm not familiar with the original book, nor with this manga. When in doubt, I would not change anything, so I would not add Adachi.
