Quite amazing that they're still fully functional after all this time. Wonderful as they are, I don't think I could sit through a full concert :0)

Catsalive | 869 comments Long1 done: Dead in Devon by Stephanie Austin 29/12 4.5★ - 1st in series

message 1163: by Jan, Moderator (new)

Jan | 20841 comments Andrea - are you working on getting your GR challenge done? You've been zipping through an awful lot of short books.

Kylie - it would depend on how long the concert is for me .... lol.

Off to update both of you :)

message 1164: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 517 comments How'd you guess it, Jan? ;) I'm nearly there now. Usually I surpass my goal with mostly full-length novels, but this year I was dealing with aftereffects of Wuhan Virus (which I had in January 2021--but the lingering effects have stuck around a loooooong time) that stole my focus. I can tell I've been making progress on recovering my reading focus, but it wasn't in time to get enough novels in to reach my goal this year. So little books it is!

Waaaaaaaay behind on posting reviews, but I might have enough time to get them in. We'll see. :) If not, I'll do the catch-up on that in January. I think the year-long challenge will still recognize them by date read even if I post them late.

I've tried to work in some full-length novels as well, but I don't think the timing has been right for fitting them into this particular game in the last week. I've either just finished them by the time the next round came open or the page count or last number of the year wasn't a number option in the round.

I finished Heart Mountain, 12/28/22, by the way. :)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 517 comments Will hold off on claiming another spot, because I have a beta reading obligation today.

message 1166: by Jan, Moderator (new)

Jan | 20841 comments All the evidence was pointing this way Andrea!! Being behind on reviews is tough though - I would probably post the completion with Review to Come in the review section. I'm the type that needs to have the completion banner before the end of the year.

Thanks for the update on your book!

Jan | 20841 comments I'm finding when I update this challenge on my chromebook rather than my computer the updates don't show up when I'm back at my computer. SOOO frustrating!! I'm going back through the posts to make sure I have everyone's completions recorded.
