While Tom can’t convince his brass of the real threat of The Merchant, his team stands behind him and Jazz Jacquette, his XO, comes to help him, bringing two others. Alyssa Locke is a Navy sharpshooter who objects to the rule that women can’t be SEALs and Team 16 member Sam Starrett. Did you get a sense of Tom’s leadership and the team dynamics from this small crew?

These people gave up some vacation time to help out Tom on what could have been a case of paranoia. Tom is their boss and they believed him when he told them that the Merchant was in the area. They had his back.

[Anita]

They had a true trust and faith in Tom, both as their leader and as the man he is. I loved the way Alyssa and Sam interacted. Knowing these two eventually get together made their scenes so fun.

These people know Tom, have depended on him to keep them alive. They never questioned he saw what he saw. That told me volumes about Tom. It was impressive. This was an unpaid, unsanctioned op and they didn’t blink twice.

I agree with you Jonetta, Tom's crew will follow him anywhere nor will they doubt him.
