Kiki hated this. So. Much.
Refel was having one of his moments - the kind that either got him killed or something.
yes.
He had died like...
Twenty-seven times or something.
Kiki had stopped trying to count after he survived death the first time.
"No, I have not," Ashalena said.
Kiki cocked her head. "Then... I guess I'm not one of the hunters you were talking about."
She took several steps towards Ashalena to separate their civilized conversation from Refel's extremely uncivilized one.
"How did you get here? I mean, we kind of fell through the roof," she said.
She had to remind herself to try not to look threatening.
Which was extremely difficult to do.

"And 'arrogant little clean people'?" repeated Vonivera, "well, I don't like men who feel like they can treat a lady like dirt as you are doing now. I think if you acted better, you could be a gentleman...But you aren't" She winked. Ashalena just watched the argument, feeling like she did not want to get involved. She didn't want to know what insults they would come up with for her... she assumed one of them would be 'silver hair.'
Ashalena responded, "I don't know..." she looked around, "I assume something magical happened and I ended up here." She looked around feeling very uncomfortable with the conversation that was ongoing. "Maybe a dragon or something brought me here, I don't know..."
"And 'arrogant little clean people'?" huffed Vonivera. "well, I don't like men who feel like they can treat a lady like dirt as you are doing now. I think if you acted better, you could be a gentleman...But you aren't."
Refel gave her a conspiratorial smirk.
"Oh, you're a lady? I couldn't tell, considering how covered you are in dirt. That's why I was treating you like dirt. I like to treat everyone like what they are. Oh wait... are those your clothes?"
Refel gave her a conspiratorial smirk.

"I don't know..." Ashalena looked around nervously, "I assume something magical happened and I ended up here." She looked extremely uncomfortable. "Maybe a dragon or something brought me here, I don't know..."
Kiki bit her lip, her brow furrowed.
"I... I wish I could help. I'm just as clueless as you."

Vonivera's cheeks grew red, but she decided she would respond and hopefully get him to shut up. "And is that your hair, it is looks like gnarled rope. Let me guess a dragon has been gnawing on it." Vonivera replied.
"And is that your hair, it is looks like gnarled rope. Let me guess a dragon has been gnawing on it," Vonivera hissed, her cheeks hot.
Refel laughed. "Hey! You got it on the first guess! Wow. Most people don't even catch that. It was in lovely braids, and then a dragon thought it was a chew toy. But that just proves that you're dirt. Nice people don't think that way."

((Refel is screaming at me so bad right now. Apparently I mistranslated his insult. Oops... XD))
Ashalena nodded, "well, I guess, I'll have to find a way back home elsewhere...This is so...frustrating." She looked around trying to find anything that she recognized, but no, there was nothing. "And gentlemen don't go around insulting the first lady he sees." replied Vonivera, "And I am sure your hair smells like bad dragon breath, perhaps the stench of it's previous victims...You being one of them"
"well, I guess, I'll have to find a way back home elsewhere...This is so...frustrating," Ashalena said with a nod.
Kiki sighed.
"Oh, I entirely agree."
She leveled a glare at Refel that he didn't see.
"Can I come with you? I mean, I won't come back to your world or anything. I just want to get away from that unGuardian-like idiot over there."
Kiki sighed.

Refel rolled his eyes. "You know, you can drop the gentleman business. I'm don't claim to own that title. But you must admit I'm strikingly handsome." he flashed an utterly fake grin. "And yes, my hair does smell bad. To keep little twerps like you at a safe distance!"

"Of course." responded Ashalena and directed her in the direction opposite of where Vonivera and Refel were. She kept thinking about what to do-- What would Chirara think? She would probably be scared and worried about her....She hated to think on it. She didn't like the idea of people who she loved missing her like that...And feeling hurt because of it.
"So what is your realm like?"
"No, I don't think your handsome. If anything you look as ugly as someone who just got attacked by a dragon, and not in a good way." she responded. "Nisis and Nyro, did not bless you with good looks that is for sure."
"Of course," said Ashalena.
Kiki's lips tipped up into an almost-smile.
As they walked down the hallway, Ashalena seemed deep in thought for a moment.
"So what is your realm like?" she asked finally.
Kiki stayed silent a moment. "Broken," she said after a moment. "Really, really broken. How about yours?"

Refel smirked. "That's probably good, considering you seem to believe in them. That means they're very idiotic."
Refel smirked. "That's probably good, considering you seem to believe in them. That means they're very idiotic."
"Dragons are real, where I am from actually." Vonivera responded, "I doubt it would be idiotic for you to believe in the sun. Unless you live in a sunless world...And that's why you're so grumpy."
Ashalena shrugged, "it's alright, mostly. Though recently shapeshifter hunters...One of which I am betrothed to, have been ruining it with violence." She sighed, the kingdom had been much nicer without them, she wished she could just remove them existence...Bleak them out make it so they never existed.
"Dragons are real, where I am from actually." Vonivera snapped, "I doubt it would be idiotic for you to believe in the sun. Unless you live in a sunless world...And that's why you're so grumpy."
Refel laughed loudly. "Ah, and my point is proven! No, purple-eyes, I wasn't referring to the dragon. It was very much real. I was actually referring to those people you said didn't give me good looks. Clearly, they have no common sense."

Ashalena gave an indifferent shrug. "It's alright, mostly. Though recently shapeshifter hunters...One of which I am betrothed to, have been ruining it with violence."
Kiki sighed. "Yeah. That's not good. We have a problem with violence too. And slavery. And death. And vicious dictators trying to get to The Heart. I almost died the other day because of that."

"Oh those people, Dumb Blonde, those are the gods in our realm, that the elves and humans believe in. Not the only ones of course, But Nisis and Nyro, who really are just one person...god that is, not person...It's very complicated. The fay, have their own gods but believe me I do pick up on insults from the elves and that is one of them." She looked at him, "but also I am sure you're silly for believing in your gods, if you think I am silly for believing in mine..." she paused for a moment and then added, "after all to you religion is meaningless."
Ashalena nodded, "that sounds horrible. Well, I am the first in time to the throne, and once I become ruler. I am going to try to fix the shapeshifter hunter issue. As they only just started coming here and ruining my kingdom." She looked down to the ground, she hoped she could fix it. She hoped, but it seemed harder than it sounded.
(I'm on, I'm just waiting for Denali to respond, given that both my characters are talking to hers).
Vonivera looked over briefly at the woman who had just runaway, well, this was interesting...She was surrounded by mortals who were guided by their senses and acted impulsively. She turned back to the man she was talking to, and continued "anyway Dumb Blonde, I don't think you would call your own religion stupid thing to believe in, right?"
KC | Queen of Cheese | wrote: "Melissa ended up in a room down the hallway. She gazed around in delight- rows and rows of fish and meat lined the room. Meat storage- or she might call it paradise. Suddenly she heard the click o..."
Ashalena looked around, and decided to explore the castle. It was new but she longed to see what was there, so she looked around...
Just to see what was there.
"I'm not a psychopath, at least that is what I think, anyway the whole killing for seeming no reason is very uncomfortable to me." sighed Ashalena. "So I'll just stick with you."
"I'm Ashalena" replied Ashalena, she would have said she was a princess but with the hostility of the place she decided against it. "You are?"
(Don't worry) Ashalena looked around, trying to figure out where they were, the only thing she could figure it out was that it was a castle. Which didn't help much, there were many castles...
"I hope this isn't Balthazar's kingdom..." she muttered, though she doubted it was.
"My betrothed, I don't like him, but he is betrothed..." She sighed, looking off into the distance, "He's going to ruin our country..."
"I...guess?" replied Ashalena shrugging, "I mean, it's more complicated, but I guess you could call him that?"
"I'm not a bystander, but I'm also not in a story, why are you acting like this is a storybook? If anything I am probably a hero..ine. But life isn't as simple as a story." replied Ashalena. "What are you then?" She asked turning the question on Mel.
Ashalena sighed, "I meant...do you consider yourself a heroine or bystander?" She asked, she thought the question was very unrealistic, but she wanted to know this person's answer. She then added answering the other question, "I like to draw...how about you?"
"That...makes sense." replied Ashalena, "I generally don't like to characterize myself as a hero. because that suggests that I have done nothing wrong in my past...or my past lives, when in fact I probably have and I am overlooking it...if I say that."
"Even so, it's viewing it through a two dimensional view rather than a three dimensional one, it's different to call yourself a hero than to have people around you call you one.." Replied Ashalena, "I am aware that heroes make mistakes, but even so, you're viewing yourself through a purely good view which means you could overlook things that you do and view them as being 'good' when they're not."
"So does your village, town, or country call you a 'hero'?" asked Ashalena, "or do you yourself call you one." She also paused and then added, "not everyone who is hailed a hero, is always one, sometimes they are the opposite."
"So what have you done that is considered heroic?" Ashalena asked, trying to figure out Melissa's character, was she really heroic or was she using that as a mask to hide her true intent?
"What did the people you're up against do that was bad?" asked Ashalena, "did they kill people? destroy a sacred site? What did they do that makes you call them evil?"
Ashalena looked over, "what in the world--" she tensed up, and grabbed the thing nearest to her which was a stone and threw it at the armor hoping it would do anything !

Refel chuckled. "No, purple-eyes, I don't. Except! I do know that it doesn't like arrogant little clean people. That's you, sweetie," he snapped.
