Leanne felt as if she had a skip in her step as she walked through the crowded streets of New York. She ignored the strange looks people gave her and Gen as they walked out the Avenger's Tower. She had a friend. Not only that, but she'd been able to help her with something they both struggled with. Control. Her scars itched thinking about, and she tugged her sleeves down out of nervous habit.

"Okay," Leanne started. "Food."

Gen looked around and knew of this great pastrami place downtown. "Well, there's a place downtown, if you want to go," she asked, as that was her only choice. She only knew of that place through her other friends.

[Kennedy]

"Sure! Lead the way." Leanne said, motioning for Gen to step forward with her hands.

Gen looked around and tried to hail a cab, "I hope this works"

[Kennedy]

Leanne laughed. "Yeah, that's one thing I miss about home. Cabs are a little chaotic."

gen smiled and laughed, "That is true as you can never get one here"

[Kennedy]

"Hopefully we'll get one! I mean, you look intimidating enough with those runes." Leanne said, in a teasing tone.

Gen smiled and lightly laughed, "The whole rune thing was recent, due to a mission thta I was on and it made me do my powers a lot more than I was thinking"

"Oh, really?" Leanne asked. "I've never been on a mission before. What are they like?"

"Well, confusing for one" she said as she was being honest

"Confusing? Huh. You'd think they'd be pretty straight forward." Leanne said, cocking her head slightly.

gen shrugged, "We really don't have adults at the tower"
