Yes, these factors were all a surprise to me. Although thinking back to Lee's POV at the beginning we knew something was up with their marriage so the affair was definitely something that could have been factored in. And it was constantly mentioned our the job was Victor's last chance at coaching. So there were some hints there but putting it together no I didn't get that at all.
Victor was never on my list of suspects - this was a total surprise for me at the end. I had totally forgotten that the killer talked to Kate before killing her. I had to 're listen' to chapter one when I read the first question,lol. Totally missed that foreshadowing. When we meet the siblings and find out they are in debt and can't afford the house - I figured that was the marital issues they were dealing with. No clue they were dealing with infidelity. There were mentions of Victor having affairs - I just thought it was with skaters Moms - not Kate.
