January 2022 Reading Challenge: New Year New Adventures

Happy 2022 from all the staff from Lincoln Parish Library.

For our reading challenge this month, we are going to read new adventures. You can come see our display anytime this month for this month's reading challenge.
Five adventures to choose:
1. Fantasy
2. Archaeology
3. Westerns
4. Exploration
5. Space

One of my adventures I'm reading is the third in a series. It's exploration, Escape from the Center of the Earth by Greig Beck. It's not part of our collection here at the library, but Greig Beck is a author I like to read often. Out of our collection we have at the library, I am reading Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein for the space adventure.

You can read some new adventures for fun, or you can be entered in our monthly prize package we have at the library.

Any adult can participate but to be entered in the prize drawing participants must:
1. Be a member of the Lincoln Parish Library Readers Club. (If not a member, you can join the club when you begin the challenge.)
2. Read 5 books, one for each of the genres listed above, between Monday, January 3 and Monday, January 31, 2022.
3. Present his/her completed log to a staff member at one of the information Kiosks by 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. (Scans or photos emailed to jbolom@mylpl.org will be accepted.)
