Between Kings by W.R. Gingell - 3.5 stars

The final book of the series does not exactly disappoint, but it didn't blow my mind away either. I wasn't sure what to think that for almost all of it, the main character of Zero is absent, and he doesn't show up until the end. Pet's battle with the King of Behind and how she overcomes him is not exactly eye-rolling, but it didn't wow me either. I liked the twist at the end, but overall this book really is a middle-of-the-road one compared to most of the series. It is still good enough for 3.5 stars, and I'm willing to round up because of my enjoyment of the entire series as a whole.
