Just outside of Hogwarts, this is where the train stops to either pick up students/staff, or drop them off. If you are a first year, you will follow Hagrid to go across the Black Lake. If you’re second year and up, you know what to do.

Hagrid made his way to the drop off. Students and teachers would be pouring out the Hogwarts Express soon, seeing as the train was only an hour or two away. The half-giant pulled out the latest Daily Prophet, and began to read.

When the train came to a lurching stop, Hagrid told the first years to follow him, which they did.

Gregory followed Hagrid. “Where are we going, Mr?”
“To the Black Lake!” Hagrid announced proudly.

Book -  Dragon | 1185 comments Rowan stepped off the train with Oliver hooting in his cage. "I know, I know. Its a new place buddy, but you'll be fine." She whispered to herself. "You'll also be fine."

“..I’ll be right there, I wanna see something.” Tommy told Rowan, staring at the train. It was obvious who he was waiting for.

Book -  Dragon | 1185 comments Rowan glanced back. "Alright, see you at the carriages." She looked around at the train station. All the other kids were grouping together and chatting. Everyone had someone to talk to, but her. She swallowed and walked forward.

Tommy waited for several minutes, but he didn’t come. ‘What if he already left..?’ Tommy held his breath, and eventually gave up. He quickly ran over to Rowan. He was panting by the time he got over to her, “Sorry—Just—Phew—Oh Merlin, I’m never running like that again..” He looked at Geode and his luggage. ‘That hurts my side,

Book -  Dragon | 1185 comments Rowan laughed a little. "Come on, if we're lucky there may still be an empty carriage." She walked with Oliver standing on her wrist.

Tommy nodded, and walked by Rowan’s side.

George, once Tommy left, stepped out of the train. He then snuck around and joined a few other RavenClaws who were heading towards the carriages.
