I am looking forward to joining this group. Around the Year in 52 Books should help me broaden my reading interests. I would like to be the type of person who plans out the whole year with what books I will read for each weekly topic, but that just isn't me. I will choose the next book after I finish my current read.

Week 1: 1. A book with a main character whose name starts with A, T, or YI read In Five Years, this has a character with the name of Aaron. He wasn't technically the main character but was Central to the plot.
Week 2: A book connected to a book you read in 2021I am going to read Recipe for a Perfect Wife. I hope I will find this enjoyable because In Five Years was such a let-down read. I read Britt-Marie Was Here in 2021. It was about a woman who was having marriage difficulties, uprooted her whole life, and had to solve a bit of a mystery. My current choice seems to follow in the same vein.
I had panned to continue this challenge by reading in order of the prompts, but I got stuck on what I felt like reading for #3 - a book with 22 or more letters in the title. I finally chose The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue but I couldn't get it from the Library, so I skipped it for now. I'm all the way down to #7 - a book related to psychology or the mind and am reading Sorrow and Bliss. I don't even know how I found this book but it is exactly the type of thing I like to read. This author has a definite voice and I want to know what will happen next in the life of this character. Plus I enjoy a little sarcastic humor. I have The Plot ready to go for prompt #4 - a book by an author with 3 names. (A prompt that didn't make the list).
