Kira Shayde (kirashayde) | 15 comments Two versions, spicy and tame, of my book Primal Shifters are combined in one entry. But the tame version now has a new title (Primal Shifters North America), a new story location (southwest US, whereas the original is in South Africa), new character surnames, and a different cover (previously the spicy and tame versions used the same cover).

Should these books be listed as separate books? The ASIN for the original Primal Shifters is B07N5ZC8J5 and the ASIN for Primal Shifters North America is B07N8Q2PV3. If they should be listed as separate books, I will need a Librarian to help since I can't create a new book with either ASIN.

Thank you!

No, but new editions of the work can be added.

Kira Shayde (kirashayde) | 15 comments Okay, I modified the details for the edition with ASIN B07N8Q2PV3, but I don't see how to change the cover or add a different cover.

If an existing edition has a new version, we do not change the current record but we add a new one. See https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/....

Kira Shayde (kirashayde) | 15 comments Thank you! Okay, I've added the new edition. When I try to set the new edition as the default version (title, description, and cover), it says I need a Librarian. Is that something you can do for me or do I need to submit a format request somewhere?

Setting the default description (which takes a librarian, and would not be appropriate in this case where each edition has a different description) is a separate process completely from setting the default edition, which librarians cannot do. As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will show on your author profile. Here's how: https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/3...
