Tiffany (tiffreadsromance) | 1 comments A Not So Meet Cute by Meghan Quinn was really fun read. I kindled it and liked it so much i also audiobooked it. I did not like the audiobook version. Lotties voice actor was on point, but i couldn't stand Huxley's. Anyhow... It's one of those billionaire, fake relationship romcoms. Parts of it with Huxley's bros had me laughing so freaking hard.

Ariane | 1 comments I started the year with the Spanish Love Deception, which I really liked. First person and I really liked how the author managed to transmit the romantic tension hidden underneath the animosity :) The Spanish Love Deception

Looking forward to your recs!

Emi (readingemi) | 7 comments I just finish my reread of the iron fey series by Julie Kagawa it’s a cute more soft enemies to lovers more of a forbidden Romeo and Juliette story but so good especially Ash😍

Annie | 7 comments Hello! I am new to commenting on Good Reads threads so please forgive me if these recs aren't exactly on point but I have 2 "hidden gems" that I found to love.

The first one is new- Josh and Gemma Make a Baby. I listened to it in one day and Erin Mallon did an excellent job narrating. I wouldn't exactly call it true enemies to lovers but it was definitely a slow burn and not an insta relationship. The main characters have a rollercoaster backstory of chemistry.
(If you are going to give this one a go, I would advise to read through any trigger warnings about pregnancy.)
Josh and Gemma Make a Baby

The second one was published last year but I am really liking it! It is called 'Meet You in the Middle' by Devon Daniels. It is a real enemies to lovers story with the feels of 'Beach Read' and 'The Hating Game' (cringe, I know every new book is compared to THG but I couldn't think of a better comparison).
Trigger warning- This is a work romance centered around a Democrat (FMC) and Republican (MMC) who are staffers in DC, so if you are passionate about US politics and feel strongly one way or the other, that may impact your ability to like this story. The reviews had strong language pertaining to the politics of this story, but I thought it was unbiased enough not to feel one way or the other.
Meet You in the Middle

◬❍Nastja❍◬ (absurd_tails) | 3 comments Hi, everyone :) Been away for some time, because of, you know, *gestures around*... Hope everyone is healthy and safe!

Decided it was time to dive back into one of my favorite (and hard to find) tropes 😁
Would love to get some recs from everyone, as well as give a few of my own. Here are a number that, in my opinion, fit the bill 👇🏼

Historical:
Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase
Breathless by Anne Stuart
(both are oldies but goodies)

Contemporary/NA:
Riot House by Callie Hart
Bully, Corrupt, and Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas
(these ones are darkish, come with tw)
I also second Devious Lies by Parker S. Huntington
Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven
(more on the angsty side)

Fantasy/UF:
Fever series (more hate-to-love than enemies, but, wow, Jericho Barrons))

There are some great bantering couples in the UF genre, but, unfortunately, not straight-up enemies to lovers (e.g. Kate x Curran from the Magic series and Nevada x Mad Rogan from Hidden Legacy both by Ilona Andrews)

YA Fantasy:
Intermix Nation (an interesting self-published book with some great etl vibes)

I'm a fan of Jude x Cardan, Aelin x Rowan (the best thing about the series, book 3 was awesome), Feyre x Rhys (books 1 and 2 especially), but would love some more NA/Adult recs, bonus if they are fantasy/UF. Don't mind older titles at all!
Reylo and Spuffy are 🙌🏼

Looking forward to your suggestions!

- N.

Esme’ | 2 comments " Thé edge of falling" by Rebecca serle. Not exactly enemies to lovers but still a very good read. Its about this girl who saved someone from committing suicide but then she gets a lot of unwanted attention and becomes super popular because of it, then a boy named Astor ( you know the Morley grey boy that every book has, his eyes are " so brown there almost black") comes in and he has a super dark scratchy background and is super rich. So our main character and him start to talk and…. It’s a very good read!

Now that the year’s almost over, does anyone have any good enemies to lovers books they read this year?

I had a particularly slow reading year, so I didn’t get to read many good enemies to lovers books. I did read Twisted Hate, and I liked it, but I didn’t feel as much chemistry as I was hoping to from the book.

What are y’all’s recs and thoughts?

Tamera Cameron | 5 comments If you want enemies to lovers you have to read Zodiac Academy! This book series was the best book series I have ever read! I read book after book and was completely obsessed!

Elita ₊✩ˎˊ˗ I loved A Favor for a Favor by Helena Hunting, Twisted Hate by Ana Huang, Tools of Engagement by Tessa Bailey and A Reckless Match by Kate Bateman
