The Counterfeit Clue by Lisa Karon Richardson A decent historical cozy
5.
Jade City by Fonda Lee A well written fantasy but too Mafioso for me.
6
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Other Stories by Robert Louis Stevenson 7.
Portrait of peril by Laura Joh Rowland
14
Ms. Marvel, Vol. 1: No Normal by G. Willow WilsonThere are a few hiccups in it but I did really enjoy it and hope the upcoming tv series from this does well.
15
Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia loved this one16
Wonder Woman: The True Amazon by Jill Thompson I didn't care much for the retconned origin story in this17
From Here to Eternity: Traveling the World to Find the Good Death by Caitlin Doughty While it could be a bit graphic I loved this (and it should be graphic. It's reality)
19
A Summoning of Souls by Leanna Renee Hieber It was a satisfying ending to the trilogy20
Werewolf by Night: New Wolf Rising by Taboo This wasn't bad but it wasn't very memorable either.21
Ballad & Dagger by Daniel José Older I had an ARC for this Rick Riordan Present's imprint and this one is YA not middle grade. It's a little dark but oh so good!
22
The Dragon Pearl by Yoon Ha LeeThe first Rick Riordan Presents I've been disappointed in. I thought this had world building issues but what do I know. It won a major SF award
23
Wake the Bones by Elizabeth Kilcoyne This is an odd but very good southern gothic horror set close to where i live on the OH/KY border. You can about feel the summer humidity in this one.24
Where Dreams Descend by Janella Angeles This fantasy was enjoyable in spite of some real world building issues25
The Mystery of Albert E. Finch by Callie Hutton I had such high hopes for this historical mystery set in the really cool town of Bath England. It could have been set in nowheresville for how badly the setting was used. The mystery wasn't that hot either.26
Faith: Greater Heights by Julie Murphy I had high hopes for this but it really fell flat. The whole duology was rather disappointing.
27
Together We Burn by Isabel Ibañez Another of the arcs i have. It was an interesting fantasy set in sort-of Spain, substituting dragons for bullfighting28
Upright Women Wanted by Sarah Gailey I liked it but it was not what I was expecting so I didn't like it nearly as much as I expected.
29
XO by Jeffery Deaver A decent but forgettable mystery30
Darkness Under the Sun by Dean Koontz I liked this novella prequel 31 Woof Woof by Spencer Quinn A decent middle grade mystery but a dog as the narrator isn't my thing
32 A Good Girl's Guide to Murder A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson I really enjoyed this young adult mystery
33 In an Absent Dream In an Absent Dream by Seanan McGuire This was not my favorite of the Wayward Children novellas but it was still a good read
35
The Cabinets of Barnaby Mayne by Elsa Hart I really enjoyed this historical mystery (set in 1703 so a much earlier date than my usual read). I hope there is more to come36
Mister Impossible by Maggie Stiefvater. In the past I've loved this universe. Several reviewers said this felt like filler and I have to agree.37
Eye Spy by Mercedes Lackey My first foray into Valdemar in years. It was not a good homecoming. This was dull as dishwater
Oops it's been a while38
Another Kind by Trevor Bream this is a fun graphic novel39
A Wedding to Die For by Leann Sweeney I'm having little luck with my mysteries this year. This was bad.40
Diamonds & Dirt by Stephanie LaVigne needed more mystery or more romance or something. It was rather flat41
Harley Quinn, Vol. 3: Welcome to Metropolis by Karl Kesel This did not turn me into a Harley Quinn fan sadly42
You'll Be the Death of Me by Karen M. McManus a YA mystery that didn't grab me43
Tiger Honor by Yoon Ha Lee the second in the series and I didn't like it much better than the first. Have to accept this is one Rick Riordan presents that doesn't work for me44
It wasn't a bad mystery but the motive and how/why it was done was simply a scientific impossibility that would have taken 30 seconds of Googling to find out. Sigh.
45
Something is Killing the Children, Book Oneby James Tynion IV absolutely loved this horror graphic novel
46
Blackwater by Jeannette Arroyo & Ren Graham I had an ARC of this and it's another good paranormal LGBT graphic novel47
A Wedding to Die For by Leann Sweeney This mystery was pretty much a big no for me.
48
BURN THE WITCH 1 by Tite Kubo I wasn't blown away by this manga49
The Shotgun Arcana by R.S. Belcher loved this weird western, warning it's a bit violent50
Key Lime Killer by Sharon Dunn an okay mystery51
Sleeping Beauties, Vol. 1 by Rio Youers adapted from a novel by Stephen & Owen King, a graphic novel about a pandemic afflicting women? Wrong time to read this one.hey I've made it
52
I loved everything about this horror/thriller (more thriller than horror but scary in how this could absolutely happen)
Cornerofmadness wrote: "hey I've made it"So does that mean you're going to take the rest of the year off from reading? :-)
53
Man-Eater: The Terrifying True Story of Cannibal Killer Katherine Knight by Ryan Green disappointing especially as there were no sources quoted54
Light from Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki a complicated SF/UF mash up with a transgendered lead.55
Murder at the Opera by Margaret Truman a disappointing mystery that seems to think if you hear opera once you'll fall in love and never listen to anything else (because seriously like 4 characters did and the rest already loved it)56
Riot Most Uncouth by Daniel Friedman if you want a drunk womanizing nasty Byron failing to solve a mystery then this is for you.57
The Shadow Threat: The House of El #1 by Claudia Gray Sorry Krypton having a strict caste system and treating everyone poorly is just not for me58
Murder on the Mountain by L.R. Starr not a half bad romance/mystery novella59
Murder in Old Bombay by Nev March I really enjoyed this historical set in the height of the colonial era in India.
60
Sacrifice by Kathleen Heady It was more suspense than mystery but it was pretty good61
Lander by J. Scott Coatsworth a solid entry into the Oberon series. I enjoyed this lgbt sf62
The Night Women by Sara Blaedel A Danish police procedural, fairly enjoyable.63
- Queen of Thieves: The True Story of "Marm" Mandelbaum and Her Gangs of New York by J. North Conway a lackluster true crime book
64
Bravely by Maggie Stiefvater I very much enjoyed this continuation of Merida's story. Lots of Celtic mythos in this.65
Inhuman by Kat Falls I'm not much on dystopias or romances with love triangles. That said this was decent66.
Wretched Waterpark by Kiersten White I really enjoyed this middle grade mystery/horror had strong Lemony Snicket/Nancy Drew/Scooby Doo vibes. I'm looking forward to more.
67.
While I'm still enjoying this series, peaceful farmer Thorfinn is just not that captivating.68
Loved this vampire story. They handled the love interest just as I would have hoped.69.
I still love Sebastian and Hero but I am getting tired of the family melodrama and hooking everything into the Napoleonic era politics
70
Lavender House by Lev A.C. Rosen really enjoyed this historical mystery LGBT arc (I have trigger warnings in my review)71
in the night room by Peter Straub this got sexually creepy72
The Wild Ways by Tanya Huff honestly this isn't much less sexually creepy with its cousins breeding program ....73
The Eidlerland Incident by Geoffrey Mandragora not bad alt history/steampunk74
The Glow of Luminiferous Aether on Tinsel by Jana Denardo Enjoyable steampunk novella75
Frogkisser! By Garth Nix This was a fun middle grade retelling of several fairytales76
From the Red Fog, Vol. 1 by Mosae Nohara a big hell no to this manga with a 12 year old mass murderer as the lead (also child murder and sexual abuse are on page)77
Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman highly rec the audiobook of this.

Six Feet Deep Dish by Mindy Quigley another good cozy mystery82
Shatter the Sky by Rebecca Kim Wells an intriguing fantasy with a bisexual lead83
Lore Olympus: Volume One by Rachel Smythe84
Lore Olympus: Volume Two by Rachel Smythe the Lore books are an interesting retelling of the Persephone story with a modern update (and as such as it is with Greek gods there are rape trigger warnings on this)85
Teen Titans: Beast Boy Loves Raven by Kami Garcia I'm enjoying these updated Titan comics86
The Ghost of Ohio by Andy Biersack a decent horror graphic novel by the Black Veil Bride's front man87
