David (falconiasrex) | 7 comments I'm pretty sure I read this in the mid 90s in a science fiction or short story collection. (Currently it's an allegory for my work where my main task is continually interrupted by a menial task making the main task nearly impossible) :P I can't remember if the zap happens periodically or if it actually detects when someone is starting to form an idea. Thanks!
