any ideas on this one? I seem to think someone here might have said that Sea of Tranquility was amazing???

Wanda | 767 comments I like the book, I'm not sure if I could call it amazing? But a must read for her fans, I like her stories!

any suggestions for this square???

message 5: by Wanda (new)

Wanda | 767 comments Who Moved My Cheese Spencer Johnson, changed my behavior many moons ago and still holds true to date. I'm re reading it right now, a short but meaningful read.

Wanda | 767 comments Alas it is not Canadian read...

Susan | 852 comments I don't know if it changed my behaviour, but Tomboy Survival Guide enriched my understanding of the challenges trans and nonbinary people face.

Off the top of my head, other Canadian titles that I thought were amazing:
The Chimps of Fauna Sanctuary: A True Story of Resilience and Recovery
Fauna
Our Homesick Songs

Thanks Wanda and Susan - I agree and have read all the books suggested except for the Tomboy Survival Guide which sounds like great learning.

@AllisonHikes - I won a giveaway of Talking to Strangers (ages ago) and have not read it yet for some reason but loved most of his other books!!

I might suggest Greenwood

Susan | 852 comments I have Greenwood sitting on my Kindle. Thanks for the nudge, Susan.

Allison | 2121 comments I am late to this conversation, but would give two big fist pumps for Tomboy Survival Guide!! LOVED that book and it definitely opened my mind and the whole world, really. Strongly recommend it.

Sarah | 386 comments Sorry, late to this post. I’d like to add Pema Chodron’s Welcoming the Unwelcome. Malcolm Gladwell’s Talking to Strangers is on my list to read as well. In this square, I had one my mother recommended to me The Body Keeps the Score.

Kathleen | 546 comments In this square, I just finished one my daughter and grandson recommended to me - A Royal Guide to Monster Slaying by Kelley Armstrong.
