here is my first oc, it's a bit longer than necessary but this is what it's kinda supposed to look like

History: Kacela grew up in Apovthra as the daughter of a wealthy merchant couple, her mother died in a ship wreck caused by sirens when Kace was 4 and so she grew up with her father mostly. She used to love sitting in on his trade meeting and going on trips with him. So she learned how to sail and chart courses from a young age as well as bargain and trade. As the only child of her father she’s the heir to his trade company but Kace isn’t particularly fond of the idea of being stuck running a company. Despite growing up wealthy she was always drawn to the darker parts of the city and after meeting a siren hunter when she was 8 Kace knew that she wanted to be one. So she starting looking into it and training secretly and 6 years later she convinced her father to let her go on a trip through siren waters as long as she swore to stay safe because he thought that would be the end of it. It wasn’t and Kacey started going on more and more trips and when she turned 16 she bought her own ship with her saving and put together her own crew. Two years later and she’s one of the most famous hunters of her time after wracking up as many kills in two years that normally takes almost 10.

History: Tsunami is the 1st-born daughter of the Siren Queen. She was loved by her subjects, her caretakers, even her mother, when she had time for her children. But as the oldest, she always felt like she was responsible for her younger sisters, not in competition with them.

At the age of 47, she began to realize becoming Queen might not actually be her destiny. Of course, it was all up to the Queen, to decide who was going to take charge after her, but it did make her think. Maybe she was meant to be in the field, not the throne.

Either way, sh began training. She fought with swords, knives, tridents, her own irresistible voice, all of it. She had to be the best. For her mother, for her sisters, for her kingdom.

Personality: Lorelei is prideful and ambitious, she likes to win and is competitive. She can be harsh and cruel like most sirens but is loyal to her people and can be kind when she wants to. She’s strong willed and bold. Lore can be serious sometimes but isn't stuck up and likes to have fun and tends to break rules. When Lore was young she cared so much about what her mother thought but eventually Lore learned to not worry so much and since has been more free-spirited. She doesn’t particularly want the crown but she does want to be noticed for how strong and powerful she is and wants to help whichever sister gets it.

History: Growing up as the second born her older sister was always before always further along in her training and Lore had to work harder to be noticed, but she doesn't care since it made her as strong as she is today. When she was little she struggled with her voice and wasn't very powerful, her mother tried to hide it since her daughters were supposed to be the strongest singers in the ocean. So to try and make up for it Lorelei trained to fight, she got really good and almost forgot her incompetent voice until her 18th birthday. She was expected to go to surface and bring back the heart of someone worthy to be a princesses first kill as a full grown siren. Lore panicked but with only a few weeks till she was expected to capture the heart she didn't have that much time. But she managed to get her first real kill on time and for years now has been building up her voice and is now a 9 instead of the 4 she was.

But with her fighting skills and eagerness, she managed to crush all that was in the way and escape hell. This has turned her into the woman she is today.

Personality: Wylan is pretty bubbly- said no one ever. Wylan is actually quite quiet, usually seen with a very solemn look on his face. He can even be sarcastic, but he deeply cares about his home and the sirens in it. He enjoys being by himself and collecting things off from the sea floor. He also has a very stand-offish nature, and a great hatred for humans. They genuinely disgust him, yet he stays as far away as possible instead of rushing towards them.

History: (view spoiler)[Wylan came out to his family that he was trans when he was still growing up. He didn't feel like a female, and never had. When his family heard of this, they basically disowned him without actually disowning him. He never speaks to his family, and they never make an effort to speak to him either. He was shunned by his mother and few sisters, and he now lives by himself in a cave he found.
Soon after leaving, he was caught in a hunters net, and the wire of the net cut into his scales and skin. He had actually been brought onto the ship and humans had thrown rocks at him and ridiculed him, wanting to torture him a bit before they actually killed him. He was slipping in and out of consciousness after a few rocks had been thrown at his head. He would've surely died right there if he hadn't been saved. He doesn't know who saved him to this day, but he had blacked out, and when he woke up again, he was back in his cave. (hide spoiler)]

History: Born to the union of a siren and a mortal man. Their union birthed something unnatural. He is basically an abomination to his own kind. He took on the traits of the Siren rather than being born mortal.
His mother raised him as their own kind just as any normal siren should be brought up. Her lover had been killed protecting her while pregnant. Triton was born into a very harsh and aggressive world, but his conscience had a different perspective to their ways given his human side. It was difficult being raised into the life of a siren, but Triton always fought the hardest to be the best. He was always pushing himself to do better, be better, and become better.
He is now hopeful to become an enchanter soon in guard of the queen and her sacred duties.

Her mother warned her of sirens growing up, and the combines threat of sirens and drowning ensured that Aurelia would never go out into the water. Aurelia has lived a sheltered life as a result. She hardly ever goes around commoners.

Family: Her father is a minor lord, Christian Virdan. Her mother is the third daughter of a wealthy merchant, Nesrin Virdan. Her mother found herself unable to have children after Aurelia was born, so Aurelia has no siblings. They live in a sizable estate on the coast, but not nearly as large as other lords. Their source of income is the slowly dwindling riches amassed from when the Virdan family used to be more prominent and collected taxes.
