Roxie Logan stayed with Billy for seven years before seriously attempting to leave him. Previous tries had him tracking her down and bringing her back. Why do you suppose she didn’t reach out to family? Was she really serious about leaving him?

I had a real problem with her not reaching out to her family or even law enforcement. If she was scared Billy was a threat to her or her family, she should have done more than meekly return to him. She doesn't rate to high on the intelligence scale for me

This was really irresponsible on her part and I’m not sure why she didn’t. Roxie seemed to live in a bubble in her own mind. I think she was serious but deep down believed she didn’t deserve better. Roxie had stayed with a man that no one else in her life cared about.

Roxie living in a bubble is a great way to put it. She was all about her clothes and was blind to the man and what he really did to get his money.
