"Like a Good Neighbor, Goodreads is There" Challenge
The past several years have been kinda frustrating for Goodreads fans. In 2022, explore some of the different ways we can still use the site to find some good reads!

Duration: 1 Jan - 31 Dec 2022

Rules: Read 25 books. Follow the instructions for each category to pick your books. Let me know if you have any questions or trouble with the links or directions. ANY book fitting the category requirements are allowed. ANY format allowed. Re-Reads are allowed, if they fit the category requirements. Members are welcome to create their list in advance or add to the list as read.

Home, Sweet Home ~ [2 books] Read 2 books shown on your "recent updates" located on the "updates" tab of your your home page. It can be one a friend just rated, added to their shelf, commented on ... ANY book shown on your list - at ANY time.

Explore a Group ~ [1 book] Roll the Die (http://www.random.org/dice/). (Choose 1 die, not two) On your home page, click on "community" at the top of the page, then "discussions", (make sure the list is showing books, not groups or both) count the list of book discussions shown until you reach the # you rolled, read the book shown.

Must-Reads ~ [2 books] Click Recommendations and choose 2 books, each from a different recommendation list.

PNR/UF ~ [4 book] Flip a Coin (http://www.random.org/coins/; Choose 1 coin, not two) If HEADS, read 4 books off either the Urban Fantasy new release list and/or the Urban Fantasy shelf. If TAILS, read 4 books off either the Paranormal Romance new release list and/or the Paranormal Romance shelf. >;) (Get it ... heads, tails... LOL!)

Rewind ~ [2 books] Click Explore --> Popular and read 2 books off the "Most Popular Books Published In 2021" list.

Follow the Reader ~ [1 book] Go to the book page for a book you read in the last month, read 1 book that's listed on the book-a-go-round list tagged "Readers Also Enjoyed". If the book page for the book you read does not have a "Readers Also Enjoyed" list, scroll down the book page until you see "Lists with this Book". Click on that link, choose 1 book from one of the list(s) shown. If the book hasn't yet been added to a list, scroll through the book's top shelves and read 1 book book found on one of the same shelves.

With a Little Help from Your Friends [1 book] ~ Click Books My Friends Are Reading and read 1 book found on the list.

With a Little More Help from Your Friends [1 book] ~ Click Friends, click on the first letter in your screen name, click on the "# books" link for one of your friends (located under their names), read a book off of your friend's shelf (any shelf).

I ❤ ... [4 books] ~ Click on your profile, scroll down to "Favorite Genres" (on the right sidebar), choose two of the genres listed. Click on the genre name and read 2 books off the list (2 books from each genre). You can choose a genre you haven't read in a while or one you frequently read, it's up to you.

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner [1 book] ~ Click Goodreads' Book Awards and read 1 book from one of the award lists available. You are welcome to read a book off of one of the previous years' Goodreads Choice Awards winners or nominees.

Best of ... [3 books] ~ Click SOS' Best of UF Series Listopia and/or SOS' Best of PNR Series Listopia and read 3 books found on either list.

Wave Your Fan Flag [3 books] ~ On your home page, scroll down until you see "NAME's Favorite Authors" on the right side of the page. Click on the link (example: My Favorite Authors Page). Once there, scroll through the list of your favorite authors and choose 3 different authors to revisit. TIP: Clicking on the "authors of # books" link will take you to the author's book list. You may either re-read an old favorite, continue on with one of their series, or start one of their new(2you) series, but you must read 1 book from 3 different authors.
