The setting on my book called SPEAK, is mostly the high school that Melinda the character is at in her hometown Syracuse, NY. Different setting only happens in her mind, but the main setting that affects the plot is the high school. Being with people that have different minds, and level class, and mostly don't accept her , and do not like her, affects the plot, and her self control. she does keep the secret and so far hasn't tell anyone.
