Britt, Book Habitue (britt--bookhabitue) | 767 comments I wouldn't have been so fast if I hadn't been able to get almost all of them on audio.

Audrey (niceyackerman) | 674 comments Finished The Duke Who Didn't -- pretty cute (and steamy). I'm generally not a fan of romance, but I think romance fans would love it.

Yep, I love listening to these on audio, too!

LOL!

I'm lucky enough to have been able to get ahold of all of them within 25 days! Got them all!

Mary | 43 comments I just finished listening to the Star-Crossed Sisters of Tuscany and enjoyed it more than I expected to. 4 stars from me.

Audrey (niceyackerman) | 674 comments Finished The Last Flight -- pretty good!

Mary | 43 comments I just finished The Paris Secret. It was probably my favorite of the 7 books that I read. I'm not planning on reading any others at this point.

Britt, Book Habitue (britt--bookhabitue) | 767 comments Paris Secret was so good

Audrey (niceyackerman) | 674 comments I can probably squeeze in one or two more. I may go ahead and listen to the audiobooks on hold even if they come past the deadline.

Patty (scrapatty) | 160 comments Did "Fortune Favors the Dead" drag for anyone else the further you went along? I kept trying to figure out why, but it was a real struggle to finish. I did the audio version so maybe that might be different than reading it?

I did the audio too, and it did start to drag. The ending was pretty anti-climactic because it used the tactic "They told us something very interesting, and then we solved it" so the reader never sees the clues fall in place.

Just a reminder from your friendly librarian that RC voting ends tomorrow! If you can't make it into a branch, we still have online voting: https://www.slcolibrary.org/informati...
Thanks to everyone for your support again this session!

Audrey wrote: "I am squeezing in Pretty Little Wife here at the end." Oh, that has been a favorite! At least here at our branch, it's in the running for #1.

Audrey (niceyackerman) | 674 comments I think my favorite will end up being Interior Chinatown.

Britt, Book Habitue (britt--bookhabitue) | 767 comments Final ranking list-

Crying in H Mart- 5 stars

Death at High Tide- 3 stars

The Duke Who Didn't- 3 stars

Fifty Words for Rain- 2 stars

Fortune Favors the Dead- 4 stars

If the Boot Fits- meh didn't rate

Interior Chinatown- 5 stars

The Last Flight- 4 stars, maybe 4.5

The Midnight Bargain- 5 stars

The Mother Code- 4 stars

The Paris Secret- 5 stars

Pretty Little Wife- 4 stars

Raft of Stars- 3 stars

The Safe Place- 2 stars

The Smallest Lights in the Universe- 5 stars

The Star-Crossed Sisters of Tuscany- 3 stars, maybe 2.5

The Vanishing at Loxby Manor- 3 stars, maybe 2.5

We Hear Voices- 4 stars

I think Midnight Bargain, Paris Secret, and Interior Chinatown are probably my favorites, in that order.
Midnight Bargain feels like the one I'm most likely to eventually reread.

Patty (scrapatty) | 160 comments I got The Paris Secret too late to vote, but I really enjoyed almost all of it. Looks like The Last Flight won - didn't get to it, but will need to now.
