I don’t really have “the experience” to write but I do write a lot and people seem to like it.I wish I could help you but as a 16 year old aspiring author I don’t think I can help that much.
What helped me a lot to write long and a lot is by building it up. First by starting short stories and make them longer to prevent losing focus. And to make the first draft not perfect but just to get the idea. Have a great day :)

Thanks so much!
I've written three full length novels in the last two years (that includes multiple drafts of each) and all I can tell you is create your characters so that you feel super strongly for them. if you feel eh about a character, it's going to make it hard to write those scenes and PLOT maybe not all the way ahead, but at least a tiny bit
I just started writing my first draft of my book I've been working on and planning for a while!!! What I try to do is make the main character relatable and add some of my personality, because I can better explain her emotions. Goodluck everyone<3
I have written and self published 2 and writing book three.Any of you lot go down the self publishing route and have any questions, just ask...

What are the first steps one would take to self publish? Other than writing the book itself of course! Is this easier or harder to do? I really don't have any experience and would love to hear yours!
Plotting your book will save you a lot of time, trust me. You don't have to stick to the initial plotting, it is just to help you understand where your story is going, who your characters are, and how they live in the world you create. Later you can change it as you write or when you finish your draft.
Yess! I’m currently writing my first book which is a fantasy/romance. It’s the first book out of my trilogy
I've self published to through Amazon KDP Room 119 & Funicular. And added audible versions through ACX.So if any of you lot need a hand plotting through that minefield?
Give me a shout, happy to help where I can.

I’m only 15 but I’m writing a novel currently. On my laptop, I created a PowerPoint that explains all the characters and their ages, hobbies, etc, so that there aren’t any plot holes and so I can understand my characters better. I’m hoping to have it published before I turn 18! Do you guys recommend self publishing or going with a company? I’m not sure.

Just curious if any of you wonderful people are aspiring authors yourselves? I have a lot of ideas for books and I always jot them down but don't actually begin writing..lol I do plan to start to write a novel this year!
Any of you done this before? Any tips? Open to all suggestions!
