Many of them are truly works of art, C. John.

I thought I was replying to a post where someone mentioned they were reading War and Peace, I think it was, a chapter a day. I was suggesting that for books like that, which are rather large and daunting, that approach might be the best one. As far as graphic novels go I would never argue against those. I have quite a few of those myself, although I tend more towards the superhero ones.

I wasn't offended, C. John.
I'm also the one reading War and Peace one chapter a day. I've tried this a few other times and I'm determined to accomplish this. I'm hoping by posting my progress every day, some of my friends on this site might prod me into compliance. Feel free to be that person.

That one may be next year's book, Britany.
I saw Les Miz in Detroit when I was 8 months pregnant with our son.

I just finished FOREVER YOUNG by HALEY MILLS. A daughter of the actor JOHN MILLS Haley was a good actress who Disney picked to star in a couple of his films. I would say that the book was passable with very good parts and some not so good parts.

Read The Shadow Scrapbook
as well as a bunch of smaller items this month. The book was interesting and I would link my review but it t'aint written yet. I find doing the reviews to be harder than reading a book. By the way this volume definitely asserts that The Shadow and Lamont Cranston were not the same person, and since it is written by the author of the original pulp novels I think he knows what he is talking about.
