Well done Kathryn on jumping straight into the challenge, it's so much fun! Hope you enjoy The Vanishing Half as much as I did.
Hi everyone! My name is Anne. I'm a cross-stitcher, diamond painter and a reader - of course! I love taking long walks, listening to an audio book or just chilling out in the garden with a good book. My favorite genres are mystery and thrillers but I also love literary fiction.

Thanks Sandra!
Thanks Sandra!
Hi Kristie, Margo and Janice!
@Janice - I love diamond painting! Goes so much faster than stitching and the pictures are just stunning!

It's very relaxing Margo, you should definitely give it a go!

I do and I love them! As you say, a great way to read and diamond paint at the same time. I also listen when I cross stitch.

Crochet was the whole reason I started on audiobooks! Now books just live in my ears always

I've never been engaged in an online community before but since my friends aren't big readers and don't get my obsession with fictional characters I'm really curious what this group has to offer. The description sounds great anyways! <3

Thanks for pointing that out. I jumped right in with Looking for Alaska! :)
Nilesh wrote: "Welcome to the group Vanessa, I also enjoy reading audiobooks when I’m pretending to tidy my house. I’m new here as well, joined less than a month ago and I’ve already become addicted to the challenges and group reads."
Agreed, they're great for that as well! I'm really looking forward to the monthly reads. Next month's topic seems interesting for coaxing me out of my comfort zone. I'm not really into the horror genre, but who knows? Maybe I'll enjoy it.
Jenn wrote: "I can do audiobooks while I crochet, but am such a newbie knitter that I can’t do both at the same time yet, but I’m sure that it will come 😉"
Oooh, I feel you! It really gets better with practice but it still happens to me when I'm doing patterns I haven't done before. When I get confused I need to turn off the audiobook...:D
