Megan | 4 comments I have over 200 books on my bookshelves right now and that doesn't cover what wouldn't fit so my challenge to myself is to read and donate at least 50 of those books before I can purchase another book....wish me luck. I will post each when completed!!
...now if I just don't go to the library...find the will power...I have to finish the last library haul first!!

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 800 comments The very best of luck Megan and if you manage it, please give us all tips. I'm off to peruse the new month selection on Amazon!!

Emily (readerlover1995) | 195 comments Wow! That’s a lot of books and I’d love to have that many! My resistance to not buy more is no good, no matter how hard I try! Reasons why I can’t even go into a bookstore without getting something! 😱
I wish you the best of luck! And if you have any tips, please do share! Good luck, Megan! 🐾

Good luck, Megan. I wish I had your will power. I feel a need to personally keep book sellers in business. My wife wishes I didn't.. lol

Good luck. That's a sound plan.

Michelle (marcher08) | 1724 comments Absolutely love your challenge! I have never counted the unread books around my house. I don't even want to know how many there are and I probably wouldn't share the total if I did. Good luck on clearing some space on your shelves!

Megan | 4 comments So I failed this challenge LOL!! so many books so little time, and my Dad sent me money to by some books for my birthday and I think I need to go to books anonymous or something, cause that is all it took to buy another one. So I will try again next year.

Don't beat yourself up. There are a lot worse habits and there are still a few months left in the year.

There is no failing this challenge; or actually any challenge, really. If you've read ANYthing this year; then you did well in my opinion.

Sure, maybe you did not read from a prescribed list; but so what

Lea (leaspot) | 3672 comments Of course you needed to buy books with your birthday money! What else was it good for?

Maybe you can read a book or two off your shelf before the end of the year and you'll feel better?

Well, if someone gave you money for books, it would be rude not to :-)
