Nirkatze | 20924 comments I do most of my reading on the couch. In front of the fireplace. With fuzzy blankets.

But I am going to try saving energy (and burning calories), by exercising while reading!

Starting easy--every day, read at least one chapter in current book while walking, climbing stairs, cycling, or lifting weights, etc..

Might change that to minutes, or percentage of book must be read--one for one chapters, or even a specific book may only be read while moving.

First self-challenge, so we'll see how this works out. Suggestions welcome!

Will NOT count a book for 2022 big challenge unless I read the whole thing while exercising.

Julian | 759 comments Audiobooks work great for this in almost all situations listed above except lifting weights. When it comes to weights you might find that you're not as focused on the book during the exercise itself depending on how heavy the weights are.

First week was a bust though. I should have known better than to try to set up a physical challenge for the first week back at work. >.<

Narilka | 5674 comments If you need audio book recs head on over to the Vagabond Treehouse thread. Iain and Soo listen to 100s of them a year. Narrators can make or break a book you might have liked otherwise.
