As far as I can tell, Audible does not take back books if they come out of the Plus catalog. Amazon also does not take back books if they come out of the Unlimited catalog. Once you download them, they are yours until you remove them yourself. The only thing with the Unlimited is that there is the 20-borrow limit. Ha Unlimited has a limit. Too funny! But as far as I can tell, Plus does not have a limit, I've downloaded over 20 in just one day. So for me, I consider Plus as "owned" and Unlimited as "borrowed." :)

The audible books through Amazon Prime has a limit of 10. I don’t think they return until you return them though.

Audible Plus is unlimited, I'm not sure what Audible books through Amazon Prime is. Is that part of Kindle Unlimited where you can read or listen?

I do know that once you download it, it cannot be taken from you. You can remove it from your library but even if it's no longer offered as part of the Plus program, as long as it's downloaded to a device, it's yours. I've had some downloaded for a year that haven't listened to yet. Kindle Unlimited is the same. Some of the books I have downloaded are no longer available on KU but I still have them.

I think I've only read one Susanna Kearsley and it was so Outlander-y. Scotland is not the only place to time travel. lol

Ohhh that's interesting, thanks for sharing! All of my library loans are coming in too fast lately so I haven't been doing much prime reading.

My physical books fall to the wayside as well. It's just less convenient to bring one somewhere and then you're stuck reading that ONE. E-book and audio are just so much easier! But does that stop me from buying physical books? Hell no! They LOOK pretty! 🤣
