my Final Hunt review

I absolutely loved this little book and laughed an cried a bit with the author and the adventures of the cows, sheep and hens.
My review

Queens of the Underworld: A Journey into the Lives of Female Crooks
The Great Hunt
The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down: How to be Calm in a Busy World
The Salt Path (after just finishing The Phone Box at the Edge of the World)

I do this too Peggy. Usually it's one audio and one book or ebook, but sometimes I pause on one because I'm not feeling it and pick up another, then maybe another to fit my mood of that day.

My Stroke of Insight: A Brain Scientist's Personal Journey
Healing the Broken Brain
I like the title of the 2nd book because that's how I feel - broken.
My problem is that I read print books slower now, mainly because my attention span seems to have shortened. I go to bed at 10:00 and generally read till 11:30 -12:00. Now I'm putting down the book after 15 minutes.

Sorry about the issues you're still experiencing Janice. Is your attention span the same throughout the day or better/worse in mornings or evenings?

I just started Murder on Black Swan Lane for the group read. It also fits the yearly challenge for me, which is nice.

I know I can return audible books, but have never done it. Also, I bought it months ago, not sure if there's a limited time to return books. And I do like stories about walks while I'm walking myself, and for that I need audio..

Audiobook - Murder on Black Swan Lane
Kindle - Death in the Sunshine

I started Seduction in Death for the monthly challenge, and I can fit it into my annual challenge too.

I am currently reading Murder on Black Swan Lane and The Lost Apothecary.

I can't decide what to start next - The Prayer of the Night Shepherd is on my schedule. I've struggled with the last couple of books in the series. I'll give it a go I guess.

I sympathise, Janice. I get so annoyed with myself when I can't decide what to read next, although I have lists everywhere. I sometimes think I need a dartboard or a coin-toss game!

I will start A Good Day for Chardonnay today.

I will start The Other People and hope I can get it finished before the toppler.
I'm anxious to finish the second badge because there are books I want to read but can't till I've started badge 3. I'm struggling right now with The Prayer of the Night Shepherd. I'll think of it as brain therapy and plow through. Got to get the side trip finished so I can move on.

I am going to continue with People of the Book again now, for my yearly challenge and the first book for badge 2. I had a month and a half off listening to and reading series books.
I fell in love with Walt Longmire and his author Craig Johnson.

Such a great series! I had some difficulty keeping up with it towards the end because there was a bit of technical stuff and different people involved. I read it as they were released so I had to try to remember details after some time had passed. I think it would be best read in a binge.

I am currently reading Holy Chow and The Lost Apothecary for the toppler.

I am now reading Mug Shot for the toppler and the yearly challenge.

I had to put the books I was reading aside for now.

Finished a superbly crafted thriller - Two Nights in Lisbon - loved it! My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
