Snowflakes, repeat after me..."I promise to be different!"
"I promise to be unique!"
"I promise not to repeat things other people say!"
Yeah for snowflakes! All different but together make something amazing- at least if you are where I am from and snow is a rarity!
Waves, hi snowflakes. I will say I'm usually different and unique but I tend to repeat things other people say sometimes. :)
Hi all, my two are in the for the week! I'm back to work tomorrow and I've started books that I won't finish this week (luckily have nothing to do with snow!) but if I happen to read another shorter book I will add it in!
I've read my 1 also, back today but have started a shorter audiobook which also fits so will add that in if I get it finished in time.
I think you can add whatever you like. If you do more, chances are that someone on the team did less, so it should even out in the end.
Your sign up number was just an average. You may enter whatever you actually read that fits the theme.
I've been saving my hockey boys for next week. I have one that I need to read for a lot of challenges and another one that just came out so I'll have two books next week and can always pick up some friends if anyone is having a rough reading week. :)
I have been having a rough reading month. Well, I have been reading slowly, and watching a lot of Netflix. The books I have read have no winter words or situations in them at all. I have been letting the side down in a big way. Maybe I can end the month with a bang.
We all have those months. I think we will just blame it all on the crazy USA and January. My reading is certainly not up to wear it has been. Work has been crazy lately. We've had so many out due to illness, school closures, freaky snow and ice situations, etc. We don't even know if these children are back in school next week or not. Thank goodness our dog doesn't go to school bc it has been a logistical nightmare for so many of my co-workers. Their kids have been home for two weeks with no return date at the moment. I think the only thing that is really keeping me from totally falling way behind is the audio books that I listen to on my commute and the weekends. Sometimes you just need netflix, wine, and cheese. I may or may not be speaking from experience here. February will be better.
It’s been so crazy, I forgot about this challenge all together. Oops…I’ll get some in this week for sure. It happens to us all!
Can someone post a link to a winter sports book list please? I don’t have pc/iPad access for a few days, just phone app and wanted to look for possible reads that would work for this last week. Thank you in advance!

I can read an extra book for this & will do more if I have time. Sometimes life gets in the way of Goodreads, so no one should feel bad about not completing their target. It’s a team effort, not individual.
I am going with a slightly different winter sport with dog sledding - Cold the Night, Fast the Wolves

Challenge rules:
*No graphic novels, poetry or cookbooks allowed.
*Follow your own time zone. If you finish the book between the theme dates in your time zone, it counts.
*You must be able to justify how your book fits the theme. Example: If the theme is cats, then your book can have a cat on the cover, a cat in the book, can be all about cats, etc. If you can justify it, then it will work. Let's keep this easy.
