Create your personal challenge logs to track your progress through the year for your listening hours. It is required if you want to participate in the Personal Listening Challenge.

You can create your own but if you'd like to have one of the moderators create your log, post your request here.

Do you know how to create a topic? If not, I can create your log for you.

Tina (the_bean) | 239 comments Hi, I wonder if you know how to do anchor links in posts? meaning links that jump to a specific area farther down the page. I know how to do it if I'm creating a website but not sure in GR posts.

I see a few people do it here
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

thanks

Tina,

I do that for every challenge, providing a link to each participant’s entry.

Here are the instructions on how to do that:

1. Locate the message you want to link. You will see on the right hand side the date and time it was posted (if it is less than 24 hours, you will only see the time in hours and minutes).

2. Place your mouse cursor over the date and right click. Select the copy link option in the menu. (If you're doing this from a tablet, just touch the date and copy the address in the browser window.)

3. Paste the link in the new post that you are writing.

4. You can post it as is or you can use html to customize your link. See the (some html is ok) link above the text box for instructions on how to create linked text or follow the instructions here.

Actually, I figured it out.

Thank you. I sort of did it the hard way initially by looking at the website code copied from someone else. So thanks for the shortcut version

Here you go, Amzette! I recommend you look at other members’ logs for ideas as to how you’d like to organize yours.

message 18: by Apex (new)

Apex (penelopeix) | 6 comments I would like moderator to create log for me. As all the books on my list this year have all been listened to. Too many to log. 330 and counting!

message 19: by Jonetta (new)

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 5782 comments Mod
Apex, the challenge requires that you log all of the books you listened to for the year. If you cannot do that, perhaps it might be better to join the 2023 challenge.

Let me know.

message 20: by Alyana (new)

Alyana | 366 comments Just wondering, do we need to create a new log for 2023? Or can we just continue with our 2022 log and just change the title, etc?

I’m going to be setting up the 2023 topics tomorrow. You’ll need to create a new log.

Bear with me!
