This is my second year of Uno and this is how I set up my shelves. I have a Uno 2022 shelf that is the finished books. I have a Uno 2022 TBR which is the books I am going to read. And then I have a shelf of Uno 2022 TBR Color with the books that are primarily one of the 4 colors you need for Uno color cards (blue, green, yellow or red.)

I'm so late to coming on and saying hello.

This is my first Uno challenge and I'm looking forward to it. I've been doing the Bachelor Challenge and Amazing Race challenges where Uno has come up in conversation threads quite a bit. I've heard wonderful things about this challenge and the group.

I'm mainly a romance reader these days as I hit the classics and fiction pretty hard up and through college. I'm working my way back into general fiction as my daughter is in high school and is becoming a bigger reader.

I'm very much looking forward to Maria Luis A New King to publish this year. This triology has been an amazing blend of suspense/thriller and dark romance. It reads like a Brad Thor with an actual relationship in there.

So, this is me in a nutshell.
Looking forward to kicking off on this challenge soon!!

I’m like everyone else and am excitedly anticipating seeing the teams and starting team planning, seeing our SS, etc. I have taken a break this month and I’m not doing any major challenges till this starts and I’m dying for it to begin. I’m used to challenge overloads but I have followed through with not joining them till I’m back from a visit with family in FL. But as of yesterday our flight was canceled so I’m not sure what’s going to happen now. That’s NEVER happened to me before. Anyway I’ll be stalking this thread to see the teams when they’re posted. So excited!

I get an email when someone posts here, when I get an email, my phone notifies me...

Yes! I turned off all the email notifications. My OCD personality doesn't like all those emails to have to go through, clogging up and disorganizing my email inbox! Thank you!

BUT most people have a do not disturb setting on to their phone then you can check email at your convenience....then your phone doesn't beep every time. BUT ANYWAY--

Oh I have my phone set to silent for all my apps, but I still don't like when any app defaults to sending you emails for everything. I'm more of a minimalist and like my email inbox not to have so many emails, neat and tidy. Unlike, my stacks and stacks of books all over my house. lol : )

Can I ask a clarification question about the Wild Draw 4 cards?

It says, "Read a book that can fit for any of the coloured cards you have that month (i.e. you are duplicating one of your coloured cards. Each coloured card can only be duplicated once)"

Would this mean that if there is a Green 2 in your hand, you would need to read two Green 2's or just two Greens (one being a 2)?

AND - what if there are no colored cards, do you duplicate any card?

And honestly, I think I understand, I just wanted to make sure I have it correct in my head.

You'll be able to ask these questions to your captain in just a bit :-)

Just one thing: there are ALWAYS colour cards.
